"Girl, You'll Be a Woman Soon," written and directed by Victoria Cortes and Ellie Starling, was a rewarding project I led sound on from pre-production through to final mix.

"Girl, You'll Be a Woman Soon" is  fantastical and whimsical tale of boardgame characters who land outside of their box into a home with old memories.

On set, I focused on capturing clean, detailed recordings, laying a strong foundation for post-production. In the edit, I took a meticulous approach to sound design, creating original effects and developing distinct sonic signatures for each board game character to deepen each of the film's surreal, whimsical soundscapes - reinforcing the film’s emotional impact and narrative clarity.
